Senior HR Advisor / HR Business Partner Cumbria Paying around £50k + Benefits
As a HR Business Partner working within our client's HR function, you will have the opportunity to work on/across mega projects and programmes, providing specialist support throughout the business, sharing your knowledge and best practise along the way. The role will involve working with different levels of the line of business, across different functions, and at varying levels of seniority, including Functional/Business Unit Directors.
You will gain great exposure to, and opportunity to shape and deliver against our client's people and business strategies, responsible for identifying people and organisation requirements, with a view to driving enhanced customer value. You will work with Centres of Excellence (CoEs) and across the wider HR model to integrate solutions and evaluate suitability to business requirements.
This role will support your ongoing HR professional development, enhancing your functional and business partnering skills and knowledge.
Our client is recruiting two Senior HR Advisor / HR Business Partner roles: one position requires full-time on-site presence, while the other offers hybrid flexibility with a minimum of three days per week on-site. They offer relocation support packages, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
What you'll be doing:
* Working across the business and within the sector, collaborating with leaders, management, and other partners to deploy coordinated, business-oriented solutions in line with our client's people strategy
* Identifying and leading all people and organisation requirements for the business area and delivering integrated solutions
* Managing and delivering the full HR life cycle, including talent management, resourcing, strategic workforce planning, employee engagement, reward, and HR policy and processes
* Coaching and supporting our client's line managers, senior leaders, and directors on all people-related matters for their business area
* Managing the day-to-day HR operations, in addition to functional HR projects that span the wider business
* Collaborating with line of business and leadership teams to implement change and continuous improvement
* Leading the analysis of people data to benchmark and implement short and long-term solutions that improve performance, including the development and retention of critical skills
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Experience working in a HR Advisor role in a large department or within a large organisation
* Experience interfacing with a senior leadership team and helping to develop and influence the organisation's people strategy
* Effective communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at different levels
* Experience working on projects to drive improvements in processes, policies, or practises
Desirable:
* Experience working in a Manufacturing, unionised, project-based environment
* Experience managing or developing others in the HR profession
* CIPD level 7 qualified or working towards
