LHH is excited to partner with an independent firm in Blackburn that is looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity to lead an audit team, manage a diverse client portfolio, and take your career to the next level.
π Key Responsibilities:
- π Support the Audit Manager by planning, executing, and completing audit assignments.
- π Prepare management accounts and statutory accounts for limited companies and groups.
- π§Ύ Create corporation tax calculations and returns for corporate clients.
- π§βπΌ Draft income tax calculations for partnerships and sole traders.
- ποΈ Assist with compliance tasks, including VAT returns.
- π¬ Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
- π¨βπ« Train and supervise junior team members, supporting their development.
π― Requirements:
- π ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) OR studying towards.
- π§βπ» Competent in audit, accounting, and tax software.
- π Full clean driver's license.
- πͺ Able to work effectively under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
- π¬ Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and teams.
