Responsibilities:
- Provide practical advice and expertise in advising clients, primarily in the private sector, on complex legal matters.
- Draft and advise on commercial contracts, such as distribution and agency agreements, and franchise arrangements.
- Negotiate commercial contracts and provide regulatory advice.
- Support broader transactions, such as hive-downs and digitalisation.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' industry sectors, including retail, food & drink, media, sport, hotels, leisure, healthcare, and financial services.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Relevant experience working on non-contentious commercial contracts.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a complex and varied workload effectively.
- Self-motivated and willing to learn.
- Experience in leading others to develop their skills and knowledge.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Experience in commercial contracts within the retail, food & drink, media, sport, hotels, leisure, healthcare, or financial services sectors.
Technologies:
