Electrical Engineer

Join us and play a key role in delivering meaningful water and wastewater projects from initial concept right through to implementation. As part of our multidisciplinary engineering team, you'll contribute to technical delivery, coordinate design activities, and help solve complex engineering challenges. You'll also have opportunities to mentor junior colleagues and support continuous improvement and innovation across our engineering function.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver technical expertise across water and/or wastewater projects.
• Support the coordination, development, and delivery of design packages.
• Produce and review datasheets, calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
• Carry out quality assurance checks and resolve complex design issues.
• Contribute to project planning and estimating task durations.
• Ensure all designs meet regulatory standards and customer expectations.
• Champion safety, sustainability, and compliance in every aspect of your work.
• Travel to sites and offices across the region when required.

What We're Looking For

• MEng/BEng (or equivalent) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• Experience in water/wastewater design, engineering, or asset management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering or design software.
• Confident communicator with strong presentation and collaboration skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Ideally, membership of a relevant professional institution or working towards it.
