Finance Manager


Location: Farnham, Surrey (Hybrid working) Salary: £55K - £65K


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a growing UK subsidiary within an international group. The role is broad and hands‑on, combining full responsibility for finance with oversight of a small office. We are looking for someone who is confident managing a dual position and thrives in a varied environment that includes finance, payroll support, HR administration, and general office management. Experience with SAP is essential.


The Role


You will oversee all day‑to‑day finance operations and act as the main contact for Group Finance.


Responsibilities include:


  • Daily accounting: GL, AP, AR, bank recs
  • Cashflow forecasting & working capital management
  • Month‑end close: reporting, analysis, forecasting
  • VAT returns and statutory compliance
  • Payroll data preparation & HR administrative support
  • Managing insurance renewals, office suppliers, and compliance
  • SAP reporting, reconciliations & process improvements

About You


  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified
  • Similar experience gained working in an SME environment
  • Strong understanding of UK accounting, VAT & PAYE
  • SAP experience
  • Excellent Excel skills and strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicating across the business
