Our client is seeking an Associate (Solicitor or Legal Executive) to join their esteemed Private Wealth Disputes Team in Guildford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional looking to develop within a supportive and human-focused environment.

Team Overview:

The Private Wealth Disputes Team, led by a distinguished Partner, is known for its excellence in managing disputes related to wills, trusts, and estates. They focus on providing empathetic and tailored support to clients facing challenging situations, ensuring they feel guided and supported throughout the dispute process.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage your own caseload of diverse private wealth dispute matters.
  • Assist senior team members with complex cases.
  • Take on day-to-day responsibilities under senior supervision.
  • Support and mentor less experienced colleagues, including Trainees and Newly Qualified Solicitors.
  • Participate in marketing and business development efforts, contributing to the strategic direction of the team.

What We're Looking For:


  • A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Private Wealth Disputes or a mixed caseload that includes this area.
  • Ideally, candidates will have 2-4 years of PQE, but we value experience over PQE alone.
  • A passion for helping clients and strong communication skills are essential.
  • Experience or interest in marketing and business development is advantageous.
  • A willingness to embrace a flexible working arrangement, combining office and home working.
