Location: Central London
Contract: 6 months
Salary: £50K - £55K or Equivalent day rate
Start Date: 5th January 2026
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a high-profile and globally recognised charitable organisation on an interim basis. You will work closely with budget holders and senior stakeholders, providing clear financial insights, robust reporting, and proactive business partnering to drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with budget holders to monitor budgets and deliver accurate reforecasting.
- Promote financial management across the organisation through training and support.
- Produce financial and non-financial reports for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Support the annual budget process and ensure timely system uploads.
- Complete accurate returns for funding bodies and other external organisations.
- Provide practical financial advice to income-generating departments, including business case support.
- Assist with year-end accounts preparation and audit requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the finance team to share knowledge and manage workload effectively.
What We're Looking For
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in business partnering and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial colleagues.
- Prior experience of working in a charity and/or Public Sector would be desirable
- Strong background in managing financial reporting development, documentation, budgeting and forecasting.
- Previous experience of annual accounts preparation would be an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills
