A leading global sport and hospitality business is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel for a 12-month maternity cover, starting in February 2025.


This role will oversee the legal affairs for the global business, collaborating with the corporate strategy team. You will manage a wide range of legal work, including drafting and reviewing NDAs, consultancy agreements, MSAs, SoWs, agency agreements, and memorandums of understanding. Additionally, you will be responsible for customer terms and conditions for major sporting events, ensuring compliance with legal obligations, and negotiating complex agreements, including high value rights deals.


The role will also involve advising on data protection matters, particularly regarding marketing communications and customer databases, and supporting the business's digital transformation. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide legal and commercial insights to guide the company's strategic decisions. This opportunity is ideal for a qualified lawyer with 4+ years PQE, looking for a dynamic and fast-paced role in a global setting.


You must have previous experience working in-house within the Sport, Travel or Hospitality industries. You, also, must have IP experience.
