I am currently recruiting for a Compliance Assurance Manager role on behalf of a General Insurance Firm. This role is primarily remote, however the direct team is based in Manchester and there may be an ad-hoc requirement for an office attendance, but certainly on a quarterly basis either in Manchester or London. The ideal profile will have proven experience in the annual planning process of risk assessments and solely with Insurance experience as other sectors won't be considered.
Requirements:
- Insurance Sector Knowledge - understands and have experience of the regulatory environment in general insurance services.
- Strong Stakeholder Management and Influencing Skills - knows how to get senior leaders on board, present findings with confidence and influence decisions.
- Leadership and People Development - inspires, coaches and develops a team of monitoring officers, creating the right environment for them to succeed.
- Previous experience in and background of managing a compliance monitoring team
- Proven 2nd or 3rd Line Compliance/Assurance Expertise - has strong experience in compliance assurance, monitoring or internal audit, and be confident taking ownership of a complex plan
- Strong knowledge of FCA requirements, including Consumer Duty.
