Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking an exceptional Procurement Disputes Lawyer to join their commercial disputes team. In this role, you will work alongside a team of talented lawyers, providing support and advice on public procurement law to a diverse range of clients including government bodies, NHS organisations, education institutions, charities, and utility companies.


What you'll do:


  • Work closely with a team of commercial disputes lawyers, specialising in public procurement, to provide top-notch support and advice to clients in the public sector, utilities, and other industries.
  • Handle all aspects of procurement disputes and contentious advisory work for both procuring entities and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with a range of clients, including central and local government bodies, NHS organisations, education institutions, charities, and utility companies, to find practical solutions that support their objectives.
  • Enjoy close working relationships with the non-contentious public procurement team, contributing to a collaborative and integrated approach.

Who you are:


  • An experienced commercial litigator with at least 6 years of PQE, trained in a city or large national/regional firm.
  • A proven track record in high-level procurement disputes work.
  • Able to take responsibility for your own caseload and clients, demonstrating emerging experience and success in business development and mentoring junior lawyers.
  • Ideally, you have experience in general commercial litigation matters in addition to procurement disputes.
