A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transaction Services Associate Director to join a leading Corporate Finance team in Manchester. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile transactions, deliver insightful due diligence, and play a key role in shaping the growth and success of a dynamic Transaction Services practice.

The Opportunity


In this role, you will support a broad portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, providing high-quality financial due diligence and transaction support on acquisitions, disposals, and capital markets transactions. You will help clients achieve successful outcomes through insightful analysis, commercial thinking, and strong technical delivery.


As an Associate Director, you will take ownership of major engagements - leading teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards. You'll also play an active role in business development, identifying opportunities to enhance service offerings and strengthen client relationships.

Key Responsibilities



  • Manage and deliver large-scale Corporate Finance and Transaction Services engagements, overseeing scope, budgets, and timelines.


  • Identify and resolve project issues prior to Partner review, ensuring quality and commercial value in every assignment.


  • Lead and contribute to the ongoing development of the Transaction Services business, working closely with Directors and Partners.


  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, gaining deep insight into their businesses and industries.


  • Act as a mentor and role model within the team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help others reach their career goals.


  • Oversee performance management, appraisals, and training within the team.


  • Actively contribute to business development - converting existing opportunities and generating new projects through professional networks.


  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of firm services and identify opportunities for cross-selling.

About You


The ideal candidate will be an experienced Transaction Services professional who combines strong technical knowledge with leadership and commercial acumen. You'll be proactive, collaborative, and confident in managing both client relationships and complex projects.


You will have:



  • ACA / ACCA qualification (or overseas equivalent), or relevant experience.


  • Proven experience in Corporate Finance and Transaction Services, ideally within a professional services environment.


  • Previous team management and leadership experience.


  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
