We're working with a respected independent accountancy firm in Middlesbrough that's seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their friendly and expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead audit engagements, supervising junior team members while offering guidance, support, and constructive feedback as needed.
• Act as the primary point of contact between clients and senior management, facilitating clear communication and efficient coordination throughout the audit.
• Compile and prepare audit documentation following the firm's standards and methodology, ensuring all files are ready for managerial review.
• Confidently manage complex technical issues, playing a key role in delivering accurate and effective audit services.
• Consistently deliver exceptional client service by applying strong commercial awareness and proactively addressing technical challenges.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
• Proficient in audit, accounting, and tax software.
• Full, clean driver's license.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and teams.
