Our client backed by private equity and entering a new investment cycle is on an ambitious growth trajectory. They are currently seeking a Senior Group Financial Accountant to join an expanding finance team. This pivotal role will ensure the delivery of accurate financial data and analysis of key KPIs.
As they continue to grow, your expertise will help them maintain financial excellence through effective acquisition integration, streamlined reporting processes, and accurate consolidation across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with future acquisitions and integrate new entities into the financial reporting systems.
- Support the completion of year-end statutory accounts and the consolidation process for subsidiaries.
- Oversee the monthly management accounts process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly analysis of balance sheet accounts, including payables and debtors.
- Implement key controls and processes within the group.
- Liaise with external auditors and provide analysis of key KPIs.
- Collaborate across Finance and the wider business, offering support and challenge as needed.
- Mentor junior team members and assist with ad hoc projects.
Salary - £65K to £75K + Bonus
Hybrid working - 2 days per week in the office based near Heathrow (there will be the occasional requirement to travel to the Brighton office. Maximum of 1 day per month)
Key skills and experience required:
- Chartered accountant with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification industry experience.
- Proven experience with multi-entity and consolidation systems.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to produce insightful reports.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team, exercising autonomy in decision-making.
- Adaptable and able to thrive under pressure, managing multiple tasks effectively.
