We are looking for a Residents Finance Assistant to join the team at Park view, Uxbridge.


Working 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, you will be supporting the managing and maintaining of Clients money accounts. Duties included are:


  • Processing of payment to and on behalf of Residents
  • Dealing with payments to Residents from external organisations and families
  • Creating and closing of CM'S accounts for Residents
  • Payment of supplier invoices and reimbursement from Resident's CMS accounts
  • Daily Cash Allocation from RBS to individual Resident's CMS bank Accounts
  • Weekly Payment of Personal Allowance to Residents
  • Weekly reconciliation of Residents bank accounts
  • Dealing with internal and external queries
  • Ensuring that all CMS activities comply with audit regulations.
  • Reconciliation of Resident's personal contribution fees to councils
  • Email service user's monthly bank statements to the services
  • Monthly completion of client contribution fees to Sales Ledger Account

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Resident's Finance Assistant to join our team based Uxbridge.


The Role


The successful candidate will be responsible for:


  • Monitoring the accounts of service users on a regular basis
  • BACS and FASTER payment to Local Authorities and third parties
  • Applying for appointee ship and benefits (Where appropriate) for new Residents
  • Data entry and completion of DWP forms and Local Authorities financial assessment forms
  • Reconciliations
  • Other related duties as designated by the Residents finance Manager

In addition, as part of fast growing and rapidly changing business, upon proving their ability, teamwork and dedication the successful candidate may gain exposure to future development projects.


The Individual


The key skills the successful candidate will need to display are:


  • Ideally one year of previous experience within the industry in administration, in a finance environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good arithmetic skills
  • Poses organise and methodical approach to work
  • A good understanding of Excel i.e. (VLook up function and Pivot Table)
  • Preference will be given to individuals who have worked in a related sector, although this is not necessary
