We're supporting a respected independent accountancy firm in Wakefield in their search for an experienced Audit Senior to join their collaborative and expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, guiding junior team members and offering mentorship and support throughout the process.
- Act as a key point of contact between clients and senior leadership, ensuring effective communication and efficient audit delivery.
- Prepare high-quality audit files in line with internal methodology and compliance standards, ready for management review.
- Tackle complex technical matters with a hands-on approach, ensuring accuracy and adding value to client engagements.
- Deliver outstanding client service, applying strong commercial awareness and taking initiative to address technical challenges with confidence.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
- Proficient in audit, accounting, and tax software.
- Full, clean driver's license.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and teams.
