We're supporting a respected independent accountancy firm in Wakefield in their search for an experienced Audit Senior to join their collaborative and expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, guiding junior team members and offering mentorship and support throughout the process.
  • Act as a key point of contact between clients and senior leadership, ensuring effective communication and efficient audit delivery.
  • Prepare high-quality audit files in line with internal methodology and compliance standards, ready for management review.
  • Tackle complex technical matters with a hands-on approach, ensuring accuracy and adding value to client engagements.
  • Deliver outstanding client service, applying strong commercial awareness and taking initiative to address technical challenges with confidence.

Requirements:


  • ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proficient in audit, accounting, and tax software.
  • Full, clean driver's license.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and teams.
