We're supporting a well-regarded independent accountancy firm in York in their search for an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead on audit assignments, overseeing the work of junior team members and providing coaching, support, and direction as needed.
- Serve as a key liaison between clients and senior management, ensuring clear communication and smooth coordination throughout the audit process.
- Prepare audit documentation in accordance with the firm's methodology and quality standards, ensuring readiness for managerial review.
- Handle complex technical areas with confidence, contributing directly to the successful delivery of audit services.
- Consistently provide a high level of client service, demonstrating strong commercial insight and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
- Proficient in audit, accounting, and tax software.
- Full, clean driver's license.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and teams.
