LHH is working with a leading company in the merchandise industry, dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager with at least 5 years of experience to manage their tax compliance and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in income tax compliance, ASC 740 tax provision, tax accounting, and SOX documentation.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Income Tax Compliance: Preparation, review, and filing of the Federal Corporate Income Tax Return (Form 1120) and related state/local jurisdictional returns (50+ returns).


  • ASC 740 Tax Provision: Assistance and review of ASC 740 tax provisions.


  • Tax Accounting Knowledge: Assistance with monthly and quarterly close items.


  • SOX Documentation: Ensure compliance with SOX documentation requirements.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management.


  • Strong knowledge of income tax compliance, ASC 740 tax provision, tax accounting, and SOX documentation.


  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.


  • CPA certification is preferred but not required.
