LHH is partnering with a respected law firm in Atlanta seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Paralegal with significant experience in complex commercial or business litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is looking to contribute to challenging, high-stakes cases
Responsibilities:
Manage litigation cases from inception through trial and appeal, including document production, deposition preparation, and trial logistics.
Handle federal and state court filings, including e-filing and procedural compliance.
Draft routine legal documents such as motions, subpoenas, and notices.
Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, and coordinate hearing schedules.
Organize, analyze, and index documents, exhibits, and deposition materials.
Assist with deposition and trial preparation, including exhibit management and trial presentation setup
Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw and LexisNexis.
Cite-check and proofread briefs and memoranda with strong attention to detail.
Support attorneys in all phases of complex commercial litigation.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience
Prior exposure to complex commercial or business litigation is required.
Strong understanding of federal and state court procedures.
Experience with electronic discovery, document review, and database management.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree and/or ABA-approved paralegal certification preferred.
Strong interpersonal communication and client service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document management platforms, and trial presentation tools.
Ability to travel locally and nationally as needed.
Willingness to work overtime as required.
