About the Role:
We’re searching for an outgoing and confident Customer Service Specialist to join a dynamic insurance team in Carlsbad. This role begins with a full-time, in-office schedule and transitions to a hybrid work model after 90 days. Ideal candidates are comfortable with high call and email volume, multitasking, and navigating challenging customer interactions with professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and emails with a customer-first mindset
- Review and process audit paperwork with accuracy and attention to detail
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns with clarity and confidence
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and follow-ups
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in insurance or a related field
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
- Comfortable with high-volume interactions and multitasking
- Proficient in basic computer systems and CRM tools
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to grow within the organization
