Job Description: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Chestnut Ridge, NY
Schedule: On‑Site | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Mechanical Assembler to support production activities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role involves hands‑on assembly work, precision tasks, and collaboration with a high‑performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electro‑mechanical assembly using hand tools, power tools, or microscopes as required.

• Follow documented assembly procedures and work instructions to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Execute repetitive assembly tasks with high attention to detail.

• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.

• Work independently and collaboratively to meet production goals.

• Read and interpret English instructions, diagrams, and assembly‑related documents.

• Adhere to all safety and quality standards in the manufacturing environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hand–eye coordination.

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.

• Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment.

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred / Stand‑Out Qualifications

• Soldering experience.

• Microscope experience.

• Genuine interest in building a long‑term manufacturing career.

• Knowledge of IPC J‑Std‑001 and/or IPC‑A‑610.

• Experience with UV glue or epoxy.

• Above‑average computer skills (Microsoft Office).

• Ability to read and interpret PCBA documents, diagrams, and schematics.
