About the Role:

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk for a full-time, onsite position in Chicago. This is a potential temp-to-hire opportunity for candidates looking to grow within a dynamic and supportive team.

As an AP Clerk, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and related transactions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and sort incoming daily mail related to accounts payable.

  • Maintain vendor invoices using the company’s scanning solution.

  • Review accounts payable statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Monitor and manage the AP invoice email inbox, responding to inquiries and forwarding items as needed.

  • Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system with precision and timeliness.

  • Assist in resolving vendor inquiries and discrepancies.

  • Support the AP team with additional tasks and projects as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounts payable or general accounting preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

  • Excellent communication skills for vendor and internal team interactions.

  • Experience with invoice scanning systems and ERP platforms is a plus.



Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
