Administrative Assistant
Customer Service & Support
The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure smooth daily operations across the organization. This role supports leaders, teams, and office functions by managing schedules, coordinating communication, organizing documents, and maintaining efficient workflows. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity located downtown Chicago.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings, including preparing necessary materials and maintaining meeting logistics.
- Handle incoming communication such as phone calls, emails, mail, and visitor inquiries, ensuring professional and timely responses.
- Create, edit, and maintain documents, reports, correspondence, and filing systems (both electronic and physical).
- Support office operations by maintaining supplies, coordinating equipment needs, processing requests, and ensuring overall organization of the workspace.
- Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and basic reporting to support departmental projects and administrative workflows.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, expense submissions, and related logistics for staff or leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience in an administrative, clerical, or office support role, with strong organizational and time?management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and maintain confidentiality while working independently.

- Pay $28-$37 an hour depending on experience
