LHH is working w/ a client based in Chicago that is looking to hire an IT Disaster Recovery Specialist to join our team for a 4+ month project w/ a strong possibility of extension. The role will be 100% remote. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of solid IT Disaster Recovery experience.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
Review and input business continuity data into planning tool
Assist with the building of teams, and rosters within Business Continuity and Site Plans within enterprise planning tool.
Help with the building and maintaining of End User documentation, training material, Presentations and guides.
Collaborating with Process Owners, Coordinators, and Plan Owners.
Build, extend, and share data visualizations that are relevant to the business to support the health of the operations.
Drive towards timely completion of the project and provide consistent updates on progress and issues.
Job Requirements:
Good time management and strong organizations skills with the ability to prioritize and complete work and/or projects effectively.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and make critical decisions effectively within scope of authority based on data analyses, migration responsibilities and data reviews.
Manually performing data validation and data migration, such as exporting, importing, transforming, and verifying data.
Use of various tools and scripts (word, excel, PowerPoint, Fusion Risk Management)
Ability to adapt to change and value diverse opinions and ideas.
Ability to operate in agile development environment, adopt and embrace new technologies.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Identify potential failures and recommend solution.
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication.
Good understanding of procedures, application and concepts within own subject area and understanding them in the context of data being migrated.
Experience
Experience with Microsoft Suite and Business Continuity Planning Tools desired
Up to two years of related work experience in roles that include Business Planning and Documentation responsibilities.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $55.00 per hour
