LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm to hire an experienced trusts and estates paralegal for a full-time hybrid position. This role requires a minimum of four years of experience in trust administration, estate planning support, and gift tax preparation. The schedule offers three days onsite and two days remote each week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with the full administration of trusts and estates

  • Collect and organize asset information, prepare inventories, and draft fiduciary accountings

  • Prepare and file federal and state gift tax returns (Form 709)

  • Draft probate documents, routine correspondence, and required court filings

  • Coordinate with beneficiaries, fiduciaries, financial institutions, and outside advisors

  • Maintain detailed and organized case files in accordance with firm protocols

  • Support preparation and implementation of estate planning documents

  • Manage deadlines, calendars, and workflow for ongoing matters

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of trusts and estates paralegal experience in a law firm or estate administration environment

  • Direct experience with gift tax filings and trust administration

  • Strong understanding of probate processes, estate planning documentation, and fiduciary accounting

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to handle sensitive client information with discretion

  • Proficiency with legal software systems and Microsoft Office

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a hybrid schedule

Benefits:

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
