We are seeking a dedicated Benefits Coordinator to join our client's team in Columbus, OH. This role will primarily focus on administering leave of absence programs and supporting various benefits-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits administration and exceptional organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Administer leave programs including FMLA, short and long term disability and parental leave
Manage workers' compensation claims, including reporting, coordinating with FMLA, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
Support employees regarding benefits enrollments and inquiries.
Oversee benefits functionality in WorkDay, including system configuration, enrollments, premium calculations, and vendor integrations.
Plan and coordinate annual benefits open enrollment and wellness programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
At least 4 years of experience in benefits and leave administration.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications; Workday experience preferred.
Solid understanding of benefits and leave compliance.
