LHH is seeking an IT Solutions Engineer to aid a client of ours in the manufacturing space. This role combines infrastructure administration, workflow automation, and application integration to enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives. Ideally, this candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 automation, be comfortable managing server and storage systems, and possess experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Administer servers, SANs, VMware ESXi, and networking.
• Design, implement, and maintain automation using Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Perform routine SQL Server maintenance, including backups, restores, and job scheduling.
• Integrate and maintain SaaS platforms.
• Collaborate on IT projects from planning through implementation and monitoring.
• Coordinate with vendors to align service delivery with internal requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and modernization of the technology environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT systems administration or infrastructure engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Hands-on experience with server infrastructure, SANs, and VMware ESXi.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server administration.
• Experience with enterprise endpoint protection and compliance tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Qualys).
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Preferred industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect, VMware VCP).
