This role oversees all financial operations, provides strategic guidance, and reports directly to the CEO. The organization manages a large portfolio of affordable senior housing and assisted living properties and is recognized for its mission-driven commitment to service and excellence. The ideal candidate has a background the industry just listed, a CPA, and 10+ yeas’ progressive accounting/finance leadership experience

Responsibilities:

· Financial Insights & Recommendations

· Expense Management

· Accounting Team Leadership

· KPI Implementation & Reporting

· Board & Stakeholder Inquiries

· Budgeting

· Tax / Audit Communications & Relationships

· Cash Flow Management

· FASB & HUD Compliance

· General Ledger, AP/AR, Payroll Oversight

· Financial Statements

· Ad Hoc Financial Analysis

· Banking Relationships

· Internal Controls

Requirements:

· CPA

· 10+ years’ progressive accounting & finance experience required, preferably at a nonprofit senior living real estate developer/property manager

· Yardi experience preferred
