Office Assistant (Temporary)
Location: M-F 8am to 5pm in Fort Lauderdale, FL (in-office, 5 days per week)
Duration: 2-3 months
Pay Rate: $25.00hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Office Assistant to support daily office operations in a corporate office environment. This is a temporary, on-site role requiring prior office services experience and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be organized, customer-service focused, and comfortable handling a variety of office support tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Daily Duties & Responsibilities
Answer and route phone calls
Handle incoming and outgoing mail
Scan and organize documents
Stock office and kitchen supplies
Clean and maintain kitchen areas
Organize and set up conference rooms
Coordinate food ordering
Track and replenish office supplies
Assist with parking validation
Basic Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required)
Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in office services, facilities, or a similar role (required)
Software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to work fully on-site
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Poised and professional appearance with excellent client-facing skills
Ability to adapt communication style to diverse audiences
Strong multitasking skills; able to work independently or as part of a team
Detail-oriented and capable of working in a deadline-driven environment
