We are partnering with a growing organization in the Burlington area to identify an Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to support day‑to‑day AR and customer collections activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing customer accounts, resolving discrepancies, and driving timely cash flow while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full‑cycle accounts receivable, including billing, cash application, and collections
Perform B2B collection calls and email follow‑ups on past‑due accounts
Review and maintain AR aging reports; prioritize accounts based on delinquency
Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short pays, and disputed invoices
Post customer payments and apply cash accurately in the ERP system
Maintain detailed collection notes and documentation
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting to resolve issues and improve collections
Assist with month‑end close activities and AR reconciliations
Prepare AR and collections reports as needed
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Collections
Strong experience with B2B collections and customer account management
Proficiency with Excel and accounting/ERP systems (Great Plains, Oracle, SAP, or similar a plus)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast‑paced environment
Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
