LHH is partnering with a well-established Greenville law firm to identify a detail-driven Legal Assistant for a temporary assignment. This role will provide essential administrative and practice support to the Corporate, Tax, and Real Estate groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, and filings

  • Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate workflow

  • Organize and manage electronic and hard-copy files

  • Assist with transactional document preparation and closing binders

  • Conduct basic research and contribute to special projects

  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and internal staff

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a law firm or legal department preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management software

  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills

  • Ability to support multiple attorneys and manage shifting priorities

  • Professional communication skills and a proactive, dependable work style

Assignment Details

  • Temporary assignment (exact duration to be confirmed)

  • Full-time, on-site in Greenville, SC

  • Competitive hourly compensation through LHH
