Creditors' Rights Paralegal

  • Greenville, NC

About the Role:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Creditors' Rights Paralegal to join a respected North Carolina law firm in Raleigh. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated legal professional to support a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, with the potential for hybrid work after an initial on-site onboarding period.




Key Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys in commercial and consumer bankruptcy, collections, and foreclosure matters.

  • Draft, e-file, and serve legal documents in compliance with state and federal court rules.

  • Manage case flow, docket deadlines, and maintain both electronic and physical files.

  • Communicate with court personnel, sheriff’s departments, and involved parties.

  • Utilize electronic filing systems and monitor schedules and service requirements.

  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including motions, notices, and releases.

  • File pleadings via NC e-portal and manage court calendaring.

  • Maintain firm and client databases, ensuring procedural compliance.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of recent experience in bankruptcy, collections, and foreclosure law supporting busy US Creditors' Rights attorneys in a busy law firm environment.

  • Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies preferred

  • NC Notary Public certification (or ability to obtain).

  • Familiarity with creditor and court platforms.

  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).


Compensation:

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and NC Paralegal Certification status, ranging from $50,000 to $100,000. Excellent comprehensive benefits are available.
