Job Title: HR Specialist

Location: Hackettstown, NJ

Type of Employment: Temporary to Possible Permanent

In Office/Hybrid/Remote: Fully in Office

Hourly: $25/hr - $28/hr based on years of experience

Job Summary:

LHH is working with a manufacturing organization in Hackettstown, NJ to hire a temporary to permanent HR Specialist. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in HR, 2 years of HR Coordinator/Admin experience and knowledge of an HRIS/ATS. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4PM with chance of over time.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with recruitment by sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews and following up on status

· Conduct background checks, drug screenings and ensure all new hire paperwork is completed

· Conduct new hire orientation

· Plan employee events, coordinating logistics with vendors and posting the engagement on the company intranet

· Aid in the paperless initiative by scanning paper files and uploading them into the company database

· Maintain employee files, ensuring compliance, and pull files as needed for audits

· Schedule travel and process expense reports for three team members

· Act as point of contact for all HR related employee inquiries

· Provide back up for additional HR and administrative tasks as they arise

Required Experience:

· Bachelors Degree in Human Resources is preferred

· At least 2 years of experience as a corporate HR Coordinator or HR Admin

· Experience using Greenhouse ATS and/or ADP HRIS preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment, switching tasks multiple times throughout each day



Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
