LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Remote Temporary Payroll Associate

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Payroll & Workforce Management Specialist to support payroll operations, reporting, and timekeeping activities within our HR and Finance teams. This role will assist with weekly and monthly reporting, payroll data preparation, timecard auditing, and employee support. The ideal candidate has hands‑on UKG Pro experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development, auditing, and ongoing maintenance of accrual and operational payroll reports.

  • Prepare and distribute standard weekly and monthly reporting for Operations and Finance.

  • Support the U.S. Payroll team with routine payroll processing activities.

  • Assist managers with timecard edits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy.

  • Review and approve PTO requests.

  • Respond to general payroll and timekeeping inquiries from employees with excellent customer service.

  • Gather, organize, and compile payroll payment data into workbooks for submission to UKG Managed Payroll.

  • Cross‑check payroll entries and audit payroll data prior to final payroll commit.

  • Assist with payroll balancing to ensure accurate and error‑free processing.

  • Perform additional payroll‑related duties as needed.

  • Participate in payroll, HR, or systems‑related projects and improvement initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of payroll experience required.

  • UKG Pro experience is required, with a strong emphasis on Workforce Management (timecards, scheduling, accruals).

  • Preferred: Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools, including report writing.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, etc.).

  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
