Controller
Accounting & Finance
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill a Plant Controller role in the Triad area of North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be an experienced accounting professional with a strong manufacturing finance background. You’ll lead plant‑level financial operations, guide cost accounting activities, and influence strategic decision‑making. Plant Controller Key Responsibilities
Lead plant financial operations, including general accounting, cost accounting, AP/AR, and reporting
Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and statements to support business decision‑making
Establish and monitor benchmarks, budgets, and operating forecasts on weekly, monthly, and annual cycles
Oversee costing functions including standard cost reviews, inventory reporting, and variance analysis
Implement and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and accounting practices aligned with all regulatory standards
Support operational and financial improvements through data analysis, process optimization, and strategic recommendations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
4+ years of accounting experience with manufacturing experience required
Strong understanding of cost accounting, variance analysis, and financial reporting
Ability to interpret financial data, solve complex problems, and provide meaningful insights
Experience developing internal controls and supporting audits
CPA, CMA, or similar certification preferred but not required
