LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill a Plant Controller role in the Triad area of North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be an experienced accounting professional with a strong manufacturing finance background. You’ll lead plant‑level financial operations, guide cost accounting activities, and influence strategic decision‑making. Plant Controller Key Responsibilities

  • Lead plant financial operations, including general accounting, cost accounting, AP/AR, and reporting

  • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and statements to support business decision‑making

  • Establish and monitor benchmarks, budgets, and operating forecasts on weekly, monthly, and annual cycles

  • Oversee costing functions including standard cost reviews, inventory reporting, and variance analysis

  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and accounting practices aligned with all regulatory standards

  • Support operational and financial improvements through data analysis, process optimization, and strategic recommendations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

  • 4+ years of accounting experience with manufacturing experience required

  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, variance analysis, and financial reporting

  • Ability to interpret financial data, solve complex problems, and provide meaningful insights

  • Experience developing internal controls and supporting audits

  • CPA, CMA, or similar certification preferred but not required
