Executive Sales Leader – $100M+ Revenue Responsibility | Furniture
Are you a strategic sales powerhouse ready to lead a high-performing team and drive $100M+ in revenue across North America? Our client, a global consumer goods company with a strong international footprint, is seeking a dynamic Executive Sales Leader to take the reins of their sales organization and accelerate growth across major retail accounts.
The successful candidate will report directly to the EVP and lead a team of 10+ independent sales reps across the U.S. and Canada.
What You’ll Do
Own the Sales Budget: Drive top-line revenue and margin performance (CM% and CM$) across key accounts.
Lead & Inspire: Manage daily operations of 10+ sales reps, ensuring alignment with targets and performance metrics.
Strategic Account Management: Deepen relationships with top 10 retail accounts through monthly sales and product flow meetings.
New Business Development: Partner with internal teams to identify, target, and onboard new customers.
Promotional Strategy: Develop and execute annual promotional plans for key accounts, ensuring ROI and brand visibility.
Global Collaboration: Travel internationally (~30%) to support global initiatives and supplier relationships.
Reporting & Forecasting: Deliver monthly sales updates to leadership, ensuring team alignment and proactive action planning.
Pricing & Margins: Own pricing models, forecasting, and budgeting to optimize profitability.
What We’re Looking For
Proven success in leading sales teams within retail-focused furniture.
Experience managing $100M+ in sales volume.
Strong understanding of margin management, forecasting, and promotional planning.
Ability to lead independent reps and drive performance through influence and strategy.
Willingness to travel internationally (~30%).
Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Comfortable navigating change and stepping into a role previously held by a long-tenured leader.
Furniture sales leadership, preferably with experience in both classic and modern/lifestyle segments
Compensation
Base Salary: $175,000 – $210,000, plus commission based on sales and margin performance.
Relocation support is negotiable for the right candidate.
Pay Details: $175,000.00 to $210,000.00 per year
