Controller

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a rapidly growing industrial organization seeking a Controller, with a background in accounting and FP&A, to lead financial operations, support strategic growth initiatives, and build a high‑performing finance function. The position offers strong visibility, executive engagement, and a clear path to future advancement.

Primary responsibilities of the Controller role include:

• Oversee month‑end close, reporting, financial controls, and process improvements

• Mentor and develop the accounting team, including guiding staff into more senior roles

• Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital needs, and financial risk assessment

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and operational analysis for a multi‑product, multi‑location business

• Partner closely with the executive team to support decision‑making and long‑range planning

• Support system upgrades, ERP optimization, and enhancements to reporting capabilities

• Provide financial leadership for growth initiatives, including potential acquisitions

• Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all finance and accounting functions

Primary qualifications include:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting

• Strong background in full cycle general ledger accounting, cost accounting, forecasting and budgeting

• Experience within industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or similar environments preferred

• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to both oversee and execute financial processes

• Proven ability to develop and mentor accounting and finance teams

• ERP experience and comfort working in fast‑paced, growing environments

• Excellent communication skills, strong analytical ability, and a collaborative approach

• Stable career history and demonstrated long‑term commitment to previous organizations
