LHH is partnering with a fast-growing, patient-first healthcare organization to hire a Human Resources Coordinator in Houston, TX.

Job Posting: Human Resources Coordinator
Location: Houston, TX 77080 – 100% Onsite
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire
Compensation: $55,000–$70,000 annually (based on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the go-to person for HR administrative support and employee engagement, working closely with the HR Manager and broader HR team. Key responsibilities include:
  • Recruiting Support: Manage job postings, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and handle background checks.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate I-9s, W-4s, direct deposits, and exit interviews.
  • Payroll Processing: Handle bi-weekly payroll, verify timesheets, deductions, and reporting accuracy.
  • Benefits Administration: Support open enrollment, insurance reconciliation, and leave tracking.
  • HRIS & Reporting: Maintain data integrity in Paycom, audit HR and benefits data, and generate reports for leadership.
  • Culture & Engagement: Plan team-building events, lunches, and employee engagement activities.
  • AI Integration: Use tools like CoPilot and ChatGPT to streamline HR workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to employment laws and internal policies, and document scalable HR processes.
  • Additional Support: Assist with employment verifications and workers’ compensation claims.

What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, administrative, or office support roles
  • Strong working knowledge of AI platforms (CoPilot, ChatGPT) – be ready to share how you use them to analyze data and boost productivity
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Experience in the healthcare industry (highly preferred)
  • Familiarity with Paycom HRIS and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • A creative mindset and passion for celebrating team culture
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
