Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Indianapolis, IN (On-site, 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday)
Compensation: $24 - $26/hr.
Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Support the finance department by managing a high volume of transactional activities with accuracy and timeliness
Ensure all financial documentation is properly reviewed, organized, and maintained for compliance and audit readiness
Collaborate with colleagues to resolve discrepancies and maintain positive relationships with business partners and vendors
Take ownership of daily and periodic payment cycles, including preparing, processing, and tracking outgoing payments
Participate in the review and reconciliation of financial records, contributing to month-end and year-end processes
Assist with internal projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing workflow and efficiency
Maintain up-to-date records and support the implementation of best practices in financial operations
Requirements:
Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
At least 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting support role, preferably with exposure to accounts payable
Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel) and familiarity with enterprise accounting systems
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently, adapt to shifting priorities, and maintain focus in a busy environment
Professionalism, reliability, and a collaborative spirit
Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
