LHH is currently partnering with a company in Irvine to help them find their next IT Support Engineer. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who enjoys solving problems, working directly with end users, and gaining hands-on exposure to a broad technology stack in a structured, team-oriented environment.

You’ll be the primary point of contact for day-to-day support issues while also working alongside senior engineers on client onboarding efforts and infrastructure projects. The position offers meaningful responsibility from day one, paired with a clear path for technical growth as your skills and confidence expand.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing day-to-day technical support across multiple client environments

  • Troubleshooting Windows and macOS systems, Microsoft 365 applications, basic networking issues, and end-user hardware

  • Managing user access, onboarding and offboarding, and device setup

  • Deploying and supporting laptops, desktops, and mobile devices, including Intune enrollment and compliance

  • Documenting all work clearly and accurately within the ticketing system

  • Escalating complex issues with thorough context to senior engineers

  • Assisting with client onboarding, technology rollouts, and defined project work

  • Contributing to internal and client-facing documentation as environments evolve

What we’re looking for

  • 1–3 years of hands-on IT support experience (MSP experience is preferred)

  • Solid understanding of Windows, Microsoft 365, and basic networking fundamentals

  • Ability to manage a ticket queue, prioritize effectively, and meet response expectations

  • Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
