IT Support Analyst (Part-Time, Onsite – Irvine, CA)
LHH has partnered with our client to identify a Part-Time IT Support Analyst to provide high-touch, onsite support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys face-to-face user support, troubleshooting, and being a key part of day-to-day IT operations.
This role is onsite Tuesday through Thursday and offers the chance to support a well-structured IT team with strong processes and escalation paths in place.
Schedule & Worksite
Onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Irvine, CA
6-month contract with strong potential for extension
Position Overview
This is a high-touch, end-user support role focused on desktop/helpdesk support. You’ll work directly with internal users, handling a mix of walk-up support, ticket-based work, and some remote troubleshooting.
You’ll initially shadow the team and quickly ramp into handling your own workload, with a clear escalation path to senior IT resources when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Provide timely support for onsite and remote end users via a ticketing system
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues (PC & Mac environments)
Support workstation setups, deployments, and hardware refresh cycles
Manage and update tickets, ensuring clear communication and status tracking
Assist with onboarding, user setup, and equipment provisioning
Support mobile devices (iOS/Android), VPN, and collaboration tools
Participate in documentation, process improvements, and internal standards
Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership of user experience
What You’ll Be Doing (Typical Breakdown)
45–55%: Helpdesk / Ticket Management & End-User Support
25–35%: Endpoint / Desktop Support
15–25%: Documentation, light projects, and process improvements
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of hands-on IT support experience
Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments
Experience with a ticketing system (Jira preferred, others acceptable)
Proven hardware troubleshooting skills (PC, Mac, peripherals)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable providing in-person, white-glove support
Nice to Have
Experience with imaging or deployment tools
Experience supporting multi-site or global environments
