LHH is seeking a polished and professional Contract Receptionist to support front desk operations for a client in South Charlotte. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, dependable, and skilled in managing administrative tasks while creating a positive first impression. The position is fully onsite and requires strong communication abilities and the capacity to maintain a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Visitor Management

  • Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and vendors with a professional and friendly demeanor.

  • Manage check‑in procedures, security requirements, and visitor routing.

  • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable.

  • Notify building security or supervisors when sensitive situations arise.

Phone System & Communication

  • Answer, screen, and route calls using a multi‑line phone system.

  • Take accurate messages and deliver them promptly.

  • Use internal tools and systems to support call routing and communication flow.

Administrative & Office Support

  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.

  • Validate visitor parking via designated software.

  • Schedule and track conference room reservations.

  • Assist with clerical tasks including filing, envelope preparation, and document collation.

  • Provide light administrative support to internal teams as needed.

Professionalism & Reliability

  • Maintain a polished, dependable, and professional presence at all times.

  • Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality.

  • Uphold confidentiality and client‑focused service in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Previous receptionist or administrative support experience preferred.

  • Strong verbal communication skills and a client‑focused mindset.

  • Comfortable using multi‑line phone systems and standard office software.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

  • Professional, reliable, and able to remain composed in a busy environment.



Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
