Legal Consultant
Classification: Full-time exempt
Pay: $85K - $130K
Location: Lake Oswego, OR (Hybrid after 90 days on-site)
LHH is working with a business consulting firm that's seeking a legal consultant to help in the financial mergers and acquisitions group.
MUST HAVES:
JD required, bar preferred
M&A experience
Minimum of 2 years of legal experience, preferably in a corporate law firm, financial services organization, or consulting firm
Duties:
Support client engagements involving business entity strategy, governance matters, ownership transitions, and merger and acquisition activity.
Operate within a collaborative consulting environment where legal professionals partner with other advisory teams to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients.
Maintain significant independence in managing client work while benefiting from the support of a close-knit professional team.
Prepare and analyze a variety of legal documents, such as operating agreements, acquisition or purchase agreements, and other contracts or materials required in connection with client advisory engagements.
Utilize platforms such as Salesforce, Slack, Smartsheet, and SharePoint to support collaboration, workflow management, and reporting functions.
