Classification: Full-time exempt
Pay: $85K - $130K
Location: Lake Oswego, OR (Hybrid after 90 days on-site)

LHH is working with a business consulting firm that's seeking a legal consultant to help in the financial mergers and acquisitions group.



MUST HAVES:

  • JD required, bar preferred

  • M&A experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of legal experience, preferably in a corporate law firm, financial services organization, or consulting firm

Duties:

  • Support client engagements involving business entity strategy, governance matters, ownership transitions, and merger and acquisition activity.

  • Operate within a collaborative consulting environment where legal professionals partner with other advisory teams to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients.

  • Maintain significant independence in managing client work while benefiting from the support of a close-knit professional team.

  • Prepare and analyze a variety of legal documents, such as operating agreements, acquisition or purchase agreements, and other contracts or materials required in connection with client advisory engagements.

  • Utilize platforms such as Salesforce, Slack, Smartsheet, and SharePoint to support collaboration, workflow management, and reporting functions.
