Paralegal – Litigation & Trial Preparation (Downtown LA)
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Downtown)
Schedule: Primarily remote with probationary period onsite for 2 weeks, then 2/3 days in person.

Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Trial Litigation paralegal to join their litigation team supporting attorneys in trial preparation for public and private entity cases, including employment and insurance coverage matters. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment working alongside 3–4 paralegals and legal assistants.
Key Responsibilities
Organize exhibits, witness lists, and case files for trial
Manage e-discovery with legal technology tools
Draft and review pleadings, motions, and legal documents
Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and internal teams
Maintain accurate billing records
Qualifications
Must-Have:
10-15 years of litigation/trial experience (junior candidates considered)
Strong organizational and technology skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime
Trial preparation experience
Demonstrated knowledge of legal terminology, legal documents, and legal processes in the Litigation Department, including the ability to mark and generate a table of contents and table of authorities
Preferred:
Paralegal certification (ABA-approved program a plus)
Background in mid-sized litigation firms
Billable Hours: Supplemental targets (not strict quotas)
Job Summary
This role focuses on trial preparation and litigation support, including document organization, client coordination, and assisting attorneys in court readiness. You’ll work primarily remote, with an initial onsite period in Downtown LA during onboarding.
