LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Recruiter with 5 years of experience working in a similar role. This is a Temporary opportunity, located in Manhattan, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with department heads to define recruitment needs, objectives, and success metrics.
- Build and manage pipelines for roles across all disciplines (curatorial, operations, programs, etc.).
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, partner networks, and industry events.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone/virtual interviews, and coordinate in-person interviews.
- Facilitate all interview stages and manage offer processes, including salary negotiations and background checks.
- Provide guidance to hiring teams to reduce bias and promote inclusive hiring practices—critical in the nonprofit cultural sector.
- Enhance the institution’s presence on relevant platforms and social media to attract mission-aligned talent.
- Maintain applicant tracking system with accurate candidate and requisition data.
- Generate regular recruitment reports—e.g., applicant volume, diversity metrics, time-to-fill.
- Review and streamline recruitment processes and documentation periodically.
- Serve as the main point of contact for new hires and hiring managers.
- Coordinate offer letters, onboarding paperwork, and orientation sessions.
- Ensure a positive and welcoming candidate experience from application to integration.
- Track and measure recruiting KPIs; report insights and suggest improvements.
- Stay current on nonprofit and arts sector hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and tools.
- Lead or support special projects (e.g., internship programs, workforce development initiatives).
- 5 years of Recruiting experience in a corporate environment, or nonprofit space
Employment Type: Temporary
Salary: $35-40/hr
Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
