Document Processing Specialist (2 Openings)

Location: Remote – Open to candidates anywhere in the United States
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST / 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM EST
Employment Type: Temporary to Hire
Pay Rate: $20–$24 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking two detail-oriented Document Processing Specialists to join our team in a temp-to-hire capacity. This role supports internal stakeholders by creating, editing, tracking, and managing digital and printed documentation in a fast-paced professional environment. Ideal candidates are highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create and revise documents from supplied information

  • Track, log, process, and store incoming ticket requests from end-users

  • Print hard copies and/or convert files to Adobe format; assemble documentation according to established standards

  • Create, manage, and record digital documents and status using provided software and tools

  • Meet internal deadlines and ensure timely data collection and processing

  • Edit and proofread documents for grammar, punctuation, formatting, and consistency

  • Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure uniform formatting standards

  • Interact with internal stakeholders to obtain required documents and information

  • Assist in training team members on relevant software, tools, and processes

  • Support development and maintenance of shared team workspaces, training materials, documentation, and resource libraries

  • Navigate internal support dashboards and systems efficiently

  • Identify and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives

  • Comply with all organizational policies, standards, and procedures

  • Make occasional in-person visits to a local office location if required

  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Word Processor, Typist, or in a similar document production role required

  • Experience in a professional services environment preferred

Technical Skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required

  • Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro required

  • Experience with ServiceNow or scheduling software preferred

  • Typing speed of at least 50 WPM

  • Excellent proofreading and grammar skills

  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities

Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
