LHH is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager on behalf of our client in Miami, FL. This role requires a minimum of five years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a strong focus on sourcing and hiring top-tier quantitative analysts, software developers, and trading professionals. Approximately 50% of hiring will focus on early-career talent from top-tier universities, while the other 50% will involve sourcing experienced professionals in trading, algorithmic development, and software engineering. The ideal candidate will have expertise in highly technical recruiting, employer branding, and strategic hiring initiatives within finance and technology. Some travel is required to attend university career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences.
Recruitment Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract both early-career and experienced professionals.
Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
Utilize multiple sourcing methods such as campus recruiting, networking events, job boards, LinkedIn, and professional associations.
Work closely with hiring managers to define job requirements and create effective talent pipelines.
University & Job Fair Recruitment (50% of Hiring Focus):
Partner with elite universities (Ivy League, MIT, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, etc.) to identify top quantitative and software engineering talent.
Attend career fairs, host recruitment events, and collaborate with faculty and student organizations to establish a strong presence in the quantitative finance and technology fields.
Develop internship and early-career hiring programs to create a pipeline of high-potential talent.
Candidate Experience & Process Management:
Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience from application to offer acceptance.
Coordinate interview scheduling, provide timely feedback, and manage offer negotiations.
Train hiring managers on best interview practices and selection techniques.
Data, Compliance, & Reporting:
Track and analyze key recruiting metrics to improve hiring strategies.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
Oversee the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure accurate candidate data management.
Travel & Stakeholder Collaboration:
Travel as needed to attend job fairs, industry conferences, and networking events.
Partner with HR and leadership teams to enhance recruitment effectiveness.
Stay current with industry trends and evolving best practices in talent acquisition.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, including university and professional hiring.
Strong track record in campus recruitment and developing relationships with top schools.
Experience sourcing mid-to-senior level talent across various functions.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel for recruitment events as needed.
Knowledge of employment laws and hiring compliance.
