LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients in the looking to fill an Accountant job for the corporate office located in Napa, CA. The position is 100% in-office. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a senior or staff level accounting position and have expertise in government accounting (City, County, State). The role will be responsible for the day to day accounting functions in the general ledger, bank reconciliations, journal entries, contract evaluation, provide assistance to the receivable and payable groups, and assist on any projects as assigned.

Qualifications for the job include:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred

- Government or Municipality industry experience is required

Strong general ledger experience (month-end, reconciliations & journal entries)

Team player, coachable, but able to work independently

Attention to detail, able to take direction, and organized

Strong communications (written & verbal)

Software experience with a medium to large ERP preferred

Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel - Advanced, Word & Outlook)

Experience: 5 years of experience as an Accountant (Senior Accountant, Staff Accountant)

Employment Type: Temporary (5 to 6 months)
