Assistant Controller, Temp to Perm, Hybrid Midtown Manhattan

LHH is partnering with an exciting client on this temp to hire Assistant Controller position. The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule in a beautiful Midtown Manhattan office. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Reconciling general ledger accounts and ensuring accuracy of financial data.

  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

  • Monitoring and analyzing financial performance, identifying trends and variances.

  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

  • Assisting with audits and providing necessary documentation and support.

  • Collaborating with other departments to gather financial information and support business operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

$50-60/hr



Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
