Docket Clerk/Managing Clerk (Various areas of litigation) Hybrid (4/1 to 3/2) New York, NY. LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Docketing Clerk with at least 3-5 years of experience in docketing and litigation to work on a hybrid basis in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background supporting attorneys in the area of litigation, with the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate initiative in a fast-paced legal environment.
This full-time position requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who thrives in a team-oriented, client-focused setting and is comfortable navigating evolving technology and legal processes.
Responsibilities:
Enter, update, and monitor critical litigation dates and deadlines in CompuLaw, ensuring full compliance with applicable federal and state rules
Research relevant court rules and provide procedural guidance to attorneys and staff.
Review and process incoming case-related notices, filings, and correspondence.
Generate clear, accurate docket reports and perform thorough quality-control checks on all entries
Assist with special projects as directed by the Docket Administrator and Senior Manager of Practice Support Services
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of legal docketing experience
Solid understanding of legal procedures, court rules, and deadlines related to litigation
Strong familiarity with legal terminology and litigation procedures
Solid understanding of federal and state court rules
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and collaborative demeanor
Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact effectively across all levels of the organization
Willingness to work overtime or travel as needed
Compensation
This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually.

This position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
Vacation Time: 30 days of PTO and Paid Sick Leave (10 day role over annually) prorated from date of hire
Additional Benefits: Compensation profit sharing plan 401(k) based on years of legal experience
Prorated annual increases based on time of hire (annual review)
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
