Patient Care Coordinator (12 openings)
Location: Overland Park, KS
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30am–7:00pm
Pay: $22/hr
Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire


Job Description

The Patient Care Coordinator supports pharmacy operations by assisting patients, managing documentation, and coordinating communication with healthcare providers. This role is fully onsite and involves both administrative and patient support responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and triage inbound phone calls

  • Complete scheduling calls via dialer or outbound queues

  • Gather and document patient demographics, insurance details, and medical information

  • Contact physicians for missing or required documentation

  • Process document intake queues for pharmacy technician review

  • Prepare shipping materials for medication packing stations

  • Schedule medication deliveries

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

    Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or GED

  • 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

    Additional Requirements:


  • Experience working with databases or CRMs (Salesforce preferred)

  • Background in healthcare or pharmaceutical environments (required)

  • Understanding of challenges related to patient medical conditions

  • Fully onsite — no remote options for this department



Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
